Alisson Becker joined Liverpool in the summer of 2018 after his appearances in the World Cup for Brazil.

His fee (£55M potentially rising to £65M) was at the time a world record for a goalkeeper, until it was broken a few weeks later when Chelsea signed Atletico keeper Kepa.

The former AS Roma goalkeeper, who conceded 7 goals in two legs against Liverpool in the 2017/18 Champions League semi-final, made his official LFC debut in the first league game of the season against West Ham at Anfield, the reds winning 4-0.
