Caoimhin Kelleher Profile

Kelleher joined the reds as a 17 year old from Ringmahon Rangers in the summer of 1995.

He was one of the subs on the bench for Liverpool's sixth European Cup win against Spurs in 2019, becoming the 12th Irish player to have a Champions League winners medal.

Due to injuries sustained by Alisson, he made his first team debut in the September 2019 League Cup 3rd Round - the reds winning 2-0 away at MK Dons.

A year later in December 2020, with injuries to both first team goalkeepers, he faced Ajax in the Champions League and kept a clean sheet in a 1-0 win for the reds.

He kept another clean sheet in the following Premier League game, his league debut against Wolves - becoming the youngest LFC keeper to keep a clean sheet on their League debut.

He featured in a number of games and manager Jurgen Klopp indicated that he had been promoted to second choice keeper, behind Alisson but ahead of Adrian.

He signed a contract extension in the summer of 2021 - keeping him with the club until 2026.
